Best wardrobe configurator software in 2026: an honest list
Last updated
Prices and features last checked
Closetforge is a white-label 3D wardrobe configurator and quoting tool for fitted-wardrobe makers. We make it, so this list is written by an interested party: read it as one, and check every figure against the vendor page we link.
A wardrobe configurator lets a customer design a wardrobe on a website, in 3D, and see or request a price. The products below all do some of that, but they are built for different buyers. Some are kits you assemble yourself, some are platforms for furniture brands with a project team behind them, and some are finished configurators for a workshop. The right one depends on who you are more than on any feature list.
Every price and feature below comes from the vendor's own public page, which we read on 9 October 2026. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so and print none. We do not score or rank the products, and the order below is not a ranking.

Simplio3D
Simplio3D is a configurator builder. On its closet page the company calls it "online closet design software customers can use themselves". The business uploads its own 3D models, adds dimension inputs and options, builds the conditional logic and sets up pricing rules, then embeds the result on its site (simplio3d.com/online-closet-design-software, read 9 October 2026). The same page describes AI features that generate a starting configurator from a product description and review its logic.
Its plans page lists Starter at $29/month, Pro at $49/month and Enterprise at a custom price. "Bill of Materials", "Custom Pricing System" and "Custom Integrations" are listed under Enterprise only (simplio3d.com/solutions, read 9 October 2026).
Onfigr
Onfigr is a UK company based in Huddersfield. Its sliding wardrobe page describes "a customer-friendly 3D configurator that makes it simple to choose sizes, layouts, doors, colours and finishes with live pricing". The call to action is to book a demo, and no price is published on the page (onfigr.com/3d-sliding-wardrobe-configurator, read 9 October 2026). Its home page lists a 3D Bedroom Planner alongside the wardrobe configurator and names clients including Howdens, Wren and Nobilia (onfigr.com, read 9 October 2026).
VividWorks
VividWorks, from Finland, offers a closet configurator "built for manufacturers and brands selling complex modular closets". Its closet page lists automatic pricing and quotes, bills of materials, AR previews, and integrations with e-commerce, ERP and CRM systems such as Shopify, SAP and NetSuite. Named customers include Montana, BoConcept and Lundia (vividworks.com/solutions/closet-configurator, read 9 October 2026).
Its pricing page lists the 3D Product Configurator at Starter €447/month and Pro €847/month, with Enterprise at a custom price, and states that implementation is "scoped separately" (vividworks.com/pricing, read 9 October 2026).
Roomle (Rubens)
Roomle publishes its Rubens plans in levels. The 3D and AR Viewer starts from €100/month, the Material Configurator from €280/month and the Room Designer from €650/month. Product configuration, which is what a wardrobe with options needs, starts with the "Basic" Variant Configurator from €850/month; the "Full Logic" Modular Configurator starts from €1450/month, and Enterprise has a custom price (roomle.com/en/pricing, read 9 October 2026). The same page lists a yearly price for each level.
Lunfio
Lunfio publishes a WordPress plugin that embeds its hosted configurator. Its own plugin listing says it lets "furniture businesses add a finished WebGL configurator to WordPress", names wardrobe companies, fitted furniture businesses and cabinet makers as the fit, and lists materials, pricing, branding and a quote or order request flow. A Lunfio account is required, and hosting, updates and support "are included from $49/month" (wordpress.org/plugins/lunfio-3d-configurator, read 9 October 2026).
Quick3DCloset
Quick3DCloset appears in software directories as closet design software. We could not open a page run by its maker when we checked on 9 October 2026, so this entry carries no price or feature claims. Read the maker's own site before you decide; we will add facts here once we can cite them.
Closetforge
Closetforge puts a finished wardrobe configurator on your own website, under your brand and your domain. A customer designs the wardrobe in 3D in six steps, or describes it to an AI assistant that makes the changes for them. When they ask for a quote, their phone number is checked with a text-message code, and the server prices the design from your own settings: your boards and what they cost, your waste allowance, your labour minutes and hourly rate, your mark-up, VAT, installation and travel.
You receive two documents for every quote: the customer's, and a workshop version with a cut list, the hardware and accessories, and a cut layout across the boards. By default a quote waits for your approval before it reaches the customer, unless you switch on automatic sending. Your site carries a small "Powered by Closetforge" notice and a notice naming us as the software provider.
There is nothing to build: the wardrobe rules are already written, and you set prices rather than logic. Our plans are published on the pricing page.
Choose them if…
- Choose Simplio3D if you sell more than wardrobes, want to model your own products and write your own option logic, and are comfortable building the configurator yourself.
- Choose Onfigr if you are a kitchen and bedroom brand or retailer, want a configurator and planning tools from a UK company, and a sales-led setup suits you.
- Choose VividWorks if you are a manufacturer or brand with a modular closet range, need connections to e-commerce, ERP or CRM systems, and have budget for an implementation project.
- Choose Roomle if you are a furniture brand that wants one platform across several product types, from a viewer to a modular configurator.
- Choose Lunfio if your site runs on WordPress and you want a hosted configurator that drops in through a plugin.
- Choose Quick3DCloset if, after reading its maker's own description, a design tool for your own use fits better than a configurator your customers use.
- Choose Closetforge if you build fitted wardrobes, want customers to design on your own site, and want each request priced from your own rates with a cut list ready for the workshop.
What Closetforge does not do
- No kitchens. Closetforge handles wardrobes only, by decision. Kitchens, bathrooms, doors and other furniture are out of scope; a quote can carry custom lines for the odd extra.
- CNC output is limited to a MaxCut CSV. The cut list exports as a CSV for the MaxCut panel optimiser. There is no file for a CNC machine and no link to your CAD.
- EU supplier catalogues only. The supplier catalogues we import come from European suppliers. There is no UK merchant price list built in; you enter your own board prices.
- No integrations. It does not connect to accounting, CRM, e-commerce or job-management software.
- No team management in your account. Extra logins are added by us on request.
- No customer payments. It sends quotes; it does not take deposits.
- No ratings. We do not score other products, and we publish no ratings of our own.
How we keep this page honest
Each vendor's figures were read on its own public page on the date shown at the top. Prices change, plans get renamed, and features arrive; if you find a figure here that no longer matches the vendor's page, the vendor's page is right. Tell us if something has changed and we will re-check.
If you are one of the vendors above and something here is wrong, tell us through the booking page and we will correct it against your public page.
See it for yourself
Open the live demo to design a wardrobe as a customer would and read the quote it produces. If you want to talk it through with a recent job of yours, book a call.
