A white label wardrobe configurator under your own brand

Last updated

Closetforge is a white-label 3D wardrobe configurator and quoting software for fitted-wardrobe makers and joinery workshops: your customers design their wardrobe on a website that carries your name, your logo and your colours, at your own web address, and the quotes they receive come from your company.

"White label" is used loosely in software, so this page sets out exactly what carries your brand, what you can change yourself, and the one thing we keep on every site and why.

Your address, not ours

Your configurator lives at a web address your customers associate with you. There are two ways to set it up, and you can use both:

  • A subdomain we give you. When your workshop is set up you get an address under closetforge.com, so the site works from the first day while you sort out your own domain.
  • Your own domain or subdomain. You add the address you want in your admin, such as your main domain or a subdomain of it like a "design" address, and point it at us with one DNS record. The platform checks the record, connects the address and issues the security certificate. If a check fails, the admin tells you what it found, in plain words, so you or your web person can fix it.

You can run more than one address and choose which one is the main one. Search engines are told which address is the main one, so your customers and Google see the same name.

Your existing website does not have to move. Many workshops keep their current site and link to the configurator from it, or put it on a subdomain beside it.

Your logo, your colours, your words

The site a customer sees is built from your brand settings:

  • Name and logo. Your workshop's name and logo appear in the header, in the browser tab and on shared links.
  • Colours. You set your brand colour, and the buttons, links and highlights across the site follow it. The platform checks that text stays readable against it.
  • The front page. The words on your landing page, the photos, your contact details and opening hours are yours to write and change.
  • Designs to start from. The templates a customer can start from are shown under your brand, priced from your own settings.
  • Your own pages. Guide pages and portfolio projects of jobs you have fitted appear as part of your site, not ours.

Behind the brand, the substance is yours too. The boards in the material picker are the ones you offer, the fittings on the quote are the ones you buy, and every price comes from your own rates. A customer comparing two workshops that both use Closetforge sees two different businesses, with different ranges and different prices.

None of this needs a developer. You change it in your admin and the site follows.

Languages for your customers

You choose the default language of your site and which languages your customers can switch to. If you offer only one language, no language switcher is shown, so the site looks like it was only ever made in that language.

Each language has its own address, so a customer who opens a link in English stays in English, and search engines see each version as its own page. Today the customer-facing site is available in English and Slovenian. The AI designer replies in the language the customer is using.

Your company on every quote

A quote is a business document, so it has to name the company that stands behind it. In Closetforge your brand and your legal company are kept as two separate things:

  • Your brand is what customers see: the name on the site and the logo.
  • Your legal entity is the company that signs the contract: its registered name, VAT number and address.

Quote documents carry both, with your logo and colour at the top and your company details where a customer and an accountant expect to find them. The price, the terms and the payment details are yours. If you run more than one brand from one company, each brand has its own site, and each quote still names the right company. When a customer opens their quote online rather than as a PDF, the page carries your brand in the same way.

Your terms and privacy notice are linked from your site's footer, because the contract for the wardrobe is between you and your customer. Closetforge provides the tool; we are not a party to that contract.

What stays on every site

One thing is the same on every site, on every plan, and it cannot be removed, hidden or restyled to be unreadable: a short notice at the foot of the configurator.

It says, in a sentence or two, that the configurator is provided to your business by Closetforge, that designs and quotes are estimates until you confirm them, and that the customer's contract is with you. Your business name is filled in automatically, so the notice always names you first. The pricing page shows how the "Powered by Closetforge" notice appears on each plan.

We keep the notice for three reasons:

  1. Data protection. A homeowner using your site has a right to know that a technical provider processes some of their data on your behalf. You remain responsible for your customers' details; the notice makes the arrangement visible.
  2. It protects you. Stating clearly that a design is an estimate and that the contract is with you reduces the chance of a misunderstanding about who promised what.
  3. Honesty. Your customers can see who runs the software, and it costs your brand very little. The notice is small, set in the footer, and does not compete with your logo.

What it does not do

White label here means your brand on everything a customer uses. It has limits, and we would rather you knew them now.

  • It does not hide the notice. The notice naming Closetforge stays on every site, on every plan. If you need software that carries no provider name at all, this is not it.
  • It does not change how the configurator is built. You change content, colours, languages and settings, not the layout of the editor or the code behind it.
  • It does not offer every language. Customer-facing languages are the ones the site has been translated into. A new language is our work, not a setting.
  • It does not set up your DNS for you. We tell you the exact record to add and check it for you, but you or whoever manages your domain adds it.
  • It does not turn us into your legal entity. Your quotes, terms, contracts and invoices stay yours, and so do the obligations that come with them.
  • It does not design kitchens or other furniture under your brand. The configurator builds wardrobes only.

See it with a brand on it

The demo runs as a fictional workshop with its own name, logo and colours, so you can see exactly what a branded site looks like to a homeowner. Open the live demo and walk through it as a customer would, then book a call and we will show you what the same site would look like with your name, your address and your quote documents.
