How do I publish designs, projects and guides from the wardrobe configurator?
Last updated
Closetforge is a white-label 3D wardrobe configurator and quoting tool for fitted-wardrobe makers. Your public site has three kinds of page you control: catalogue designs, projects and guides. This page explains each, and what the platform does for you when you publish.
Nothing appears on your site until you publish it, and nothing is put there for you.
Catalogue designs
Catalogue (/admin/templates) holds the wardrobe designs a customer can start from. Each design is a draft until you press Publish; Unpublish takes it off the site and makes it a draft again. On your site the published designs are listed under /predloge, each with its own page.
A design can also be Internal. An internal design is priced, has pictures and can be opened from the back office or linked to a project, but it never appears on your public site. Use it for a standard job you quote often but do not want to advertise.
Renamed a published design? Its old address keeps working and forwards to the new one.
How the pictures are made
You do not photograph a design: the platform draws it from the 3D model. Pictures start when you press Make pictures or when you publish, and the short video is recorded once the design is published. When you change a design, its pictures are made again by themselves.
The Pictures and video panel on a design shows each picture's state: ready, out of date, being prepared, missing or failed. Refresh pictures and video is only needed if you replaced a decor texture or the platform asked you to.
The "from" price
Each design can show a "from" price on its public page. Switch on Show a "from" price on the public page for the designs you want it on. The figure is the wardrobe itself with VAT, without delivery or installation; the exact price still comes from a quote. A walk-in made of several wardrobes has no "from" price, because its price depends on the whole set.
If a design cannot be priced, for example because a decor in it has no price, Catalogue says so and the public page shows no figure.
Projects: your finished work
Projects (/admin/projects) are pages about wardrobes you have built: photographs, a title, the town and a description. Link the quote the job came from and the design is frozen with the project, so its page can show the 3D model beside your photographs. Published projects are listed on your site under /projekti, and the latest appear on your home page.
On plans that include it, the AI studio writes a project page from the photographs of a finished job, in every language you sell in. Everything it writes waits for your review.
Some plans limit how many projects can be published at once; see plans. Archiving a project takes it off the site and stops it counting, without deleting anything.
Guides: pages you write
Guides (/admin/pages) are longer pages, such as an article on the hinges you fit, a page about the area you cover or a page about your workshop. Write one and it appears on your site under /nasveti. A page you never write simply does not exist, so there are no empty sections on your site. Changing the address of a published guide leaves a redirect behind, so old links still work.
Photographs for any of these pages live in the Image library (/admin/media).
