How do plans, the AI allowance and credit packs work in my wardrobe configurator?

Last updated

Closetforge is a white-label 3D wardrobe configurator and quoting tool for fitted-wardrobe makers. This page explains your trial, the AI assistant's monthly allowance, credit packs, and changing or cancelling your plan. Plan prices, allowances and the trial length are on the pricing page.

Your trial

A trial is a real workspace, not a demo. Your site is live: customers can design, ask for quotes and receive them as normal. While the trial runs, your workspace can also use your own templates and live prices on your website, so you can try them before you choose a plan.

A banner at the top of the back office shows how many days are left, with Choose a plan. That button opens Settings → Plan & billing (/admin/settings).

When the trial ends

When the trial ends without a plan, the banner says your site is read-only until you choose one. About a week later the workspace is suspended. Choosing a plan lifts the read-only state.

The one extension

If you need a little more time, the banner offers to extend your trial once. It becomes available when you have finished most of the setup steps; until then, the banner says how many are done and how many it needs. You can use it while the trial runs, or shortly after it has ended. The extra days are added to your end date, so taking it early never shortens your trial.

The AI assistant's allowance

Each plan includes a number of AI assistant messages a month, counted across all your customers. The AI assistant usage card on Plan & billing shows how many have been used this month, when the count resets, and the daily limit. A message with a photo or a PDF counts as more than one.

In designs: on our first workshop's site a typical design conversation used about four messages, and eight on average once photos are counted. The pricing page turns each plan's allowance into a rough number of AI-assisted designs a month.

When the month's messages are used up, the assistant pauses until the reset. Designing by hand in the 3D editor is never limited, so your customers can still design everything there; nothing they have made is lost. You are told when most of the month's messages have gone.

Credit packs

If a busy month runs out early, you can buy a credit pack on the same card, under Extra AI credits. Packs and their prices are on the pricing page.

  • Credits never expire. A pack bought this month is still there next month.
  • They are used only after the month's plan messages are gone. Buying a pack mid-month never uses up the allowance you already pay for.
  • The assistant is back on as soon as the payment goes through.
  • Packs top up an active subscription, so you can buy one once you have chosen a plan. They are sold in pounds and euros.
  • Purchases lists every pack with its receipt. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it bought are taken back, never below zero.

Changing your plan

Plan & billing shows your current plan, its status and the renewal date, and a card for each plan. Before you switch, each card lists what you would gain and what you would lose. If you have a discount code, enter it under Have a discount code?.

The billing portal

Manage billing opens the billing portal, where you can change your payment method, download invoices, switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel. Switching billing period credits what you have already paid for.

Cancelling

Cancel from the billing portal. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and the Plan & billing card says so with the date. After that date the workspace is suspended. Until then, you can change your mind and resume the subscription under Manage billing.

Before you go, you can export your customers' data; see your customers' data, GDPR and exports.
